Since the industrial revolution, working lifestyle has been continuously transforming. Even as the clamor for health-friendly work environment grows at a slow pace, the modern workplace has extended to employees’ home, bringing ease and a myriad of benefits. Employers can drive their business outcomes by implementing employee wellness programs that focus on imparting the right education, skills, motivation, and social support. With healthy behaviors, employees can lower health risks, reduce chronic diseases, and prevent expenditure on hospital visits. Today, employers prefer to adopt technologies that help employees maintain a work-life balance. Headquartered in New Jersey, Brittingham Software Design, Inc. (BSDI) offers efficient health promotion technology. BSDI takes pride in its 25 years of experience producing feature-rich, flexible technologies that cultivate daily lifestyle habits to improve population health.

With an expert, creative, and enthusiastic team, BSDI provides Motivation Alliance, a comprehensive and highly configurable health promotion portal that aids employers in bringing positive change in their employees. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach to wellness Motivation Alliance takes the path of innovation that makes the portal a prominent player in the employee wellness expanse. Some of the biggest institutions in the U.S. use Motivation Alliance internally. Motivation Alliance offers a broad array of configurable wellness tools, including incentive programs, to aid employers in creating their own effective health-first culture. BSDI’s highly configurable portal provides all the necessary tools to design and implement a successful wellness program. These tools can be configured according to the client’s needs.

Besides, BSDI provides a comprehensive suite of biometric tools and assessments to track the population’s change over time.

BSDI facilitates employers to enroll in separate populations in an effort to engage their employees in a community outreach program. Further, BSDI’s social engagement features help employers boost their employees’ morale and productivity. Offering numerous options to employers, BSDI is a cost-effective, one-stop shop for every business’ employee wellbeing needs.

The founding of BSDI is an interesting tale, indeed! In 1988, when Dr. Brittingham and his wife Pam Brittingham were given fitness tests at a local gym by a young trainer named Kelli Calabrese (now a nationally famous trainer and speaker), the fitness testing software had issues. Being a research scientist in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), Dr. Brittingham offered to build better software in exchange for a discount on their gym membership. For the next three years, Kelli continued to request new features and improvements to the software, and Dr. Brittingham continued to build them. In 1991, the software had improved to the point that Kelli suggested Dr. Brittingham get in touch with Dr. David Nieman, Fellow of the American college of sports medicine (FACSM). After testing the software, Dr. Nieman sent a message to Dr. Brittingham saying, “This software is light-years ahead of any package on the market! I have fired my programmer and set you up with a distributor! Call me!” Soon after, the software was named “The Fitness Analyst,” and BSDI was established.

Recently, BSDI launched the NextYou coach platform that contains all the assessment tools and programming options required to create healthy daily habits and to achieve lasting change over time. With its extensive experience in the industry, team BSDI strives to continue improving Motivation Alliance and develop a suite of consumer products aimed at inspiring people to become the ‘next best’ version of them.
